Description

A hardy evergreen, flowering shrub with attractive fern-like foliage that belongs to the Daisy family. It bears flowers over a long period and colours range from white to dark pink and yellow. All have a yellow center. Cultivars often have double or semi-double flowerheads.

Polular in gardens and as cut flowers.

Growing

Adaptable and marginally frost hardy, they are, however, best grown in full sun. Removal of spent flowers will prolong flowering.

Best grown in temperate climates. In cold climates they need to be brought under shelter in winter.

The soil should be well-drained and not too rich.

Propagate from tip cuttings at any time of the year.
