Description

Attractive, evergreen ornamental shrub.

Grows to about 1-2m, has aromatic foliage and produces perfumed, white star-shaped flowers in spring.

Growing

Choisya prefers full sun and a fertile well-drained soil.

Although Choisya is good plant for coastal temperate and tropical gardens, it is also frost hardy and will grow in cool temperate climates if sheltered from wind and in a sunny position.

Propagate from half hardened cuttings in summer or take a cutting from the base of the plant that has a few roots on it.

Prune after flowering.
