Description

Commonly grown foliage plant, about 40-75 cm high with branching stems that spread laterally. The oblong green leaves are patterned in irregularly shaded bands of pale yellow-green, with pale green undersides. Small, white flowers on one-sided spikes are produced intermittently. Native to Brazil.

Growing

Cultivation: They require bright to moderate light but direct sunlight may cause the leaves to curl. They need ample water during the growing season and dislike low humidity. Propagation is usually from basal offshoots.
