Description

Native to Namibia, this small succulent, cactus-like shrub reaches 1-1.8m (3-6ft) and often finds use as a house plant. It has erect triangular branches that are dark green mottled with white and spines along its ridges. An attractive cultivar with red bracts between its spines is 'Red Devil'.

Growing

Slow growing. Adapts to most soils.
