Description

Hardy perennial with large (8-10cm) daisy-like flowers on 30-40cm stems emerging from a rosette of long large leaves.

The flowering period is from late spring into autumn. Flowers come in singles or doubles with colours ranging from red, pink, orange, yellow, cream and white, which make excellent indoor decoration.

 

Growing

Plenty of sun, good drainage.

Best in rich sandy loam with some shelter from wind.

Propagate by seed in late spring and summer, or by division of existing clumps in October and November. In tropical climates division can be performed at almost any time of the year.

Tropical to temperate climates.
