Description

This is a lovely zygo type cactus plant, which, however, flowers during the warmer months of the year, and not in winter as do the others.

The Christmas Cactus flowers in pinks and reds and always looks stunning in a hanging basket!

Growing

These are very easy plants to grow, require little attention, and make spectacular focus plant when in full bloom.

Protection from the hot summer sun is required, so it is best to grow them under the shade of trees or on a shaded patio, or a shadehouse environment.

Cuttings can be taken from the plant after flowering. If growing in a garden bed, build up your soil with a soil conditioner and mulch well after planting, thus making your watering work more effective and efficient.
