Growing
Solanums are warm-climate plants that have a wide range of
requirements, though most are quite tender and only few are
really frost tolerant.
Most prefer full sun or partial shade and are easy to grow
in any rich, well-aerated and well-drained soil.
Propagation: Commonly grown from seed in spring or from cuttings
in summer.
Pests: Prone to attack by spider mite, whitefly and aphids.
